Three Warnings/I Missed Them All

warning-147489_1280_0

What a day! A friend of mine is here in Florida from New York because of her job and we were supposed to meet up for dinner this evening. So another friend offered me the use of her car so I could meet up with my visiting friend and honestly I had already planned to take the bus, but I accepted the offer to use her car. Big mistake.

Long story short I had an accident in Walmart’s parking lot and hit someones car as I was backing out of the parking spot. The car that I was driving sits up a little higher than what I am used to. It’s a Nissan Rouge and strangely enough the car has rear view cameras and I still didn’t see the person I hit! But it is what it is and now I will more than likely end up having to come out of my pocket to pay for the repairs. But that is not what I am upset about.

You see, God gave me 3 warnings to get me to avoid this accident and I missed all three. I know this may seem strange to some people and to other’s you may be able to identify. Warning number one: When my friend offered me the car and I got off the phone after accepting her offer, I felt troubled in my spirit. I mean heavily burdened. I recognized the burden, but didn’t get a clear understanding of what the burden was for. But I did get a fleeting thought that maybe I shouldn’t use the car.

Second warning: On the morning of the accident, I was going to Bible Study before my work from home job and I felt led to ask the lady who usually picks me up, to do so anyway even though the car I borrowed was parked down stairs in the parking lot. But I felt guilty for asking her to come to get me when I had the use of a car. But the Lord was prompting me to do so and I didn’t listen.

Third warning: I pulled into Walmart’s parking lot because I needed some cash back, but immediately felt to pull out the space and leave BEFORE I went in the store, but I ignored the prompting. That was my last warning because when I came out I backed out and hit another car. Bummer.

Of course no one wants to have an accident, especially not while using another persons car. I believe this was a learning experience and a reminder to be more sensitive and to pay attention to the still small voice of the Holy Spirit and obey!

1 Kings 19:11-13 New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Revelation to Elijah

11 Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake; 12 and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

This Is It!

thisisitEarly this morning I was watching This Is It, the concert film of Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for his last tour that never took place. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch the film, at the end I want to cry. It’s said that the reason they had to piece together different parts of the rehearsals, to make the film, is because physically he was in such bad shape, they couldn’t really get enough footage of him doing well, at one time.

You can definitely see the talent, but you also see a frail man, who I think became a prisoner of fame. It’s so sad. I often wonder what made him isolate himself from his family. I think when you get to a certain level you should have some family around. But perhaps his own family became untrustworthy. Maybe they always wanted from him. But at the end of the day, the people around him couldn’t be trusted. So I say, family would have been better.

What really saddens me is how a prophet of God from Africa, tried to reach Michael through his brother Marlon, before Michael died. This prophet forsaw Michael’s death and was trying to reach him to minister healing, but in the end it didn’t happen. Could it have happened? I think so. God is always reaching to us, but often we get willful and do things our own way. This is definitely the case when men and woman are powerful and wealthy. I think it’s just too easy to do what they want because they often become a God unto themselves. After all, people worship celebrities.

We will never know all of what was going on in Micheal’s life. But we do know God loved him and wanted to reach him before his death. Not ine of us are beyond the reach of God’s love but we have to be willing to receive it from the proper source. We are all God’s creation, but we have a choice. Michael made some wrong choices and it ended in his death. In his case, the name of his tour would become his prophetic end. Yes, for him, that was it

When God speaks to you, please listen. It could be your ‘THIS IS IT” moment.

1 Samuel 15:22-23

Living Bible (TLB)

22 Samuel replied, “Has the Lord as much pleasure in your burnt offerings and sacrifices as in your obedience? Obedience is far better than sacrifice. He is much more interested in your listening to him than in your offering the fat of rams to him. 23 For rebellion is as bad as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as bad as worshiping idols. And now because you have rejected the word of Jehovah, he has rejected you from being king.”

God is Coming for Your Money and Your Sin

cigs and moneyOdd title isn’t it? Well, it’s been an interesting morning and God spoke to me through some circumstances that have come to my attention.

I feel sad about the church today. I feel sad that we are not taught the true gospel and that is salvation, being a disciple and living a righteous life. What grieves me more than ever is the level of compromise that is among so-called Christians. It’s sad how there are absolutely no standards or difference between the world and the church. As long has we are “prospering”, we feel that God is pleased with us, but that is not true. There are drug dealers and peddlers of pornography who are “prospering” financially and God has NOTHING to do with those people.

My heart is full today because of all that I see. I am not perfect, but I know what it means to live righteously and sadly the church is failing in teaching the truth. I am amazed at how many Christians really think Christianity is about going along with the status quo and mixing in with the world. PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS??

The reason I used this title is because I heard it in my spirit. God is going to begin to bring correction to those who claim to know him and if your money or wealth is hindering you from seeing the truth, God is coming to take it away. Yes, sin affects your prosperity and if you think you can live anyway and still prosper, in time, God will allow you prosperity to dwindle away. Why? Because lack of money get’s most people’s attention.

This is the season where God is dealing with sin and bringing correction. Trust me when I tell you that this blog post is a warning. For some, it’s not the first time, you have gotten a warning. For others, it may be, and God is saying it’s time to tighten up your loose living before you lose it all. No that doesn’t have to happen, but God will allow it to save your soul.

I know this sounds like a strange message. But I heard it in my spirit. This morning, a woman contacted me distraught, because her husband, who is a minister is dealing with addiction and sadly, he doesn’t know that he is about to lose his family!  He has deluded himself and thinks that he is alright, but his prosperity (his family) is about to be snatched from him.

I don’t know if it’s a man thing, but many live in denial about stuff, until it’s all gone. Listen, let me just helps someone out. God is NOT going to continue to bless you if you continue to fornicate, commit adultery, get drunk, use drugs, smoke, indulge in porn, be a glutton and live contrary to the Word of God. I don’t care how long you have been living in sin and everything is going well. Do you realize that the Word says that God blesses you, so that you will repent? But after a while, it may all have to be taken away, if you don’t get it together.

I’m grieved, for the man who is about to lose his family. For the man who doesn’t realize his whole entire life is about to be exposed. For the one that doesn’t even know how close they are to their whole universe caving in. For the man or woman who refuses to CHANGE. And that applies to ALL OF US.

Check yourself today. This is a warning. God chastens whom he loves! Turn back to him TODAY!

1 Peter 4:17

Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?

Hebrews 12:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.

2 Corinthians 13:5

Amplified Bible (AMP)

5 Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [[a]not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?

Warning for America

The other day when the Supreme Court ruled DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) null and void, I felt a shift in the atmosphere and it wasn’t good. Words cannot express how heavy my heart is at the direction this nation is taking in this area and many others. There is so much going on that we don’t even realize is happening and our liberties are being taken away everyday. Ten years from now, we will not recognize America if these things keep going on.

What grieves me more than anything is the attitude of the church and how we are largely silent while sin is being legislated. What is more grievous, is that Christians may or may not believe what the bible says and even if they do, they will remain silent or politically correct. There is only one problem. God is not going to allow this stuff to go on without judging it. Read your bible.

The biggest enemy to the church today is this “user-friendly” gospel being preached that is designed to not step on any ones  toes. There is an absence of teaching on sin, judgment and hell and anything deemed “negative”. If it’s not positive thinking or making us feel comfortable in spite of our sin, we don’t want to hear it. The bible talks about itching ears and not wanting to hear the truth.

I’m afraid for America, but I am more afraid for the church. Remember, Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed because of sin. I don’t know why we don’t think judgement is about love. That is absolutely what it’s about. Just like a parent brings correction, so God does the same thing. This has been bubbling up in my spirit for a while and then this morning I heard a warning from a Prophet about America and it confirmed all that I am feeling.

Do you think that America will be exempt from being destroyed? Do you think war can’t break out right on our shores? Do you think natural disasters can’t come and destroy us? Do you think life as we know it, can’t change in a minutes time? If you think we are exempt from any of this, you are surely mistaken.

Just recently, TSUNAMI activity was picked up on the EAST COAST!! Do you think we can’t get hit and the East coast be wiped away?? Remember Sandy?? Hit the East Coast and did damage that those people NEVER thought they would experience. IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE OF GOD!!

Please take the time to listen to this warning concerning America. And there is also a link explaining what the Supreme Courts decision meant.
