Has God Ever Given You One Word?

I just got finished BEGGING God to take something away from me. I mean I was pleading with God to release me from something…and all I heard was ONE WORD…

Have you ever had God give you one word that stopped you in your tracks.

verb \pri-ˈtend\

: to act as if something is true when it is not true

: to imagine and act out (a particular role, situation, etc.)

transitive verb
:  to give a false appearance of being, possessing, or performing <does not pretend to be a psychiatrist>

:  to claim, represent, or assert falsely <pretending an emotion he could not really feel>

Enough said! Goodnight.

Let go and let God

Recently I’ve heard the phrase “Let go and let God” at least three times and it got my attention. Sometimes we have our hands on something and we need to let go in order for God to work.

I tend to be a nurturer. Most women are. We want to fix things. But there comes a time when our nurturing, caring or correcting can become a hinderance. I know this is really difficult when you have children. As a parent you want to lend guidance to your children. But in every situation there can come a time when we have to let go and let God do the work. It’s doesn’t mean you don’t love, or you don’t care. It just means it’s no longer your responsiblity and if the truth be told, hasn’t been for a while.

Today, God wants someone to release that situation, that person, that child, and put them in the hands of God. It’s not your concern anymore.

This is for someone today. HANDS OFF and let God!

Proverbs 3:5:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding.

Psalm 37:3-5:

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

I have been the sole caregiver for my elderly father for nearly 4 years now and just recently I felt God was releasing me. Sometimes we feel a sense of responsiblity in a situation but then God see and knows that we need to be freed from it and he releases us from it.

If you find yourself under a great burden in any given situation and God releases you, accept it. God will work the situtaion out but remember He knows that you need to be set free.

John 8:36:

36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

 John 8:36:
36So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.
