A New Memo

I remember years ago hearing a preacher say “check your mail because God has sent a new memo”. I can so identify with that statement because I feel as though I have gotten a new memo.

First, let me start by saying I have no problem saying I’m wrong about something, but I am pretty sure the Lord was prompting me to move and trying to see about my willingness about a move, but in the past week all of that has changed. Let’s say I thought that was what God was saying and was going to be both willing and obedient. But things suddenly changed and we can get new memos from God each and every day.

Let me say this. As far as I know, I am not going to be moving. I am not sure if someone is praying against my move, but I am not going. Honestly, when I said I was moving, I really didn’t have anything in mind other than obedience. I didn’t have a person in mind, I just had a vision of what God showed me the morning I woke up and saw Pastor John Gray saying he moved to Atlanta and so did his mate and that is where they connected. But I honestly did not and do not have the who in the vision. I felt I did a very long time ago, but I am wise enough to realize that the person I thought God was speaking to me about has no interest and honestly I have no interest in hanging onto someone who does not want me. That is simply not Gods will. In order for two people to marry, they both need to want to be together and that is just not the case. I’ve accepted that.

So looks like my new memo is saying to stay put. Actually, I am relieved about it. I remember years ago wanting to take a trip to Atlanta and fasting and praying and turning on Pastor Jentzen Franklin and hearing him say “this is the place where your miracle will happen, this is the place where your prophesy will come to pass, and God says you don’t have to run to Atlanta for it to happen”. lol I have held firmly to that word ever since and will continue to do so.

I don’t know if I received a new memo, or went back to the old one, but right now, I want to say, I am staying right here!

A Seer Not a Witch

I know when people don’t understand the things of God, they tend to label what they are. I also realize that some things can be lost in translation, especially on a blog.

I’ve shared stories of how God revealed His plan and what He was going to do, but it’s not an attempt to control. We all have free will and we have a choice, but then we must live with those consequences, good or bad.

I’ve been shown some things in the realm of the spirit that have not manifested and they are not all good. I believe that some things will happen depending on what the person does. If God says we are in danger of certain things, it’s up to us to adjust and change our behavior in order for that not to happen. Warnings are just that. They are letting us know if we persist and go in a certain direction, we will have a certain end. But does it have to happen? No, it does not, provided we obey God. It’s all about changing our behavior.

But if we disregard what God is saying and continue in the wrong direction, we will reap that particular harvest and yes that could mean death. This is especially true, when God has revealed something to us. Once God says, “go this way”, if we go the opposite way, we have to live with what we have done.

Years ago, a minister out of Detroit, shared a story about how he was going home from a ministry trip and God told him to stop and go in another direction. Since he was a man who had learned to obey God instantly, he did exactly what God said. And he told his ministry team to follow him. Now here is where it get’s sticky. Most of us don’t want to follow man. But if God raises a man or woman up to see for us, it’s best to follow. Well one person in his ministry team decided to continue with the original plans and go home and the plane crashed and no one survive!!

Yes, I know some will say it was his time, and I can’t say for sure, but I think it was a test of obeying the leader. What came through the leader was a clear strong warning that I believe was designed to save EVERYONES LIFE. All he had to do was believe the prophet and follow God’s direction that came through the leader.

That is what free will is about. Some people believe it means, that you can say no to God and live happily ever after. No, it does not mean that at all. It’s means you have the choice to go your way, but you still must live with the price of your disobedience. You see God wants us to live for him and obey him because we love him.

I didn’t intend to write this at this hour, But I woke up knowing that it’s now or never on some things. And please don’t assume you know what I am talking about. It’s much more serious than you could ever know. I am a seer not a witch. It’s very dangerous to call God’s vessel something that they are not.

The Right Time

It’s so strange to me. I’ve shared about having my driver’s license forever and how I am finally driving regularly. I’m formerly from New York, so I just fell into the bus and subway, taxi cab thing. But now that I’m driving regularly, I’m zooming through the streets and it’s all so very odd to me. It feels so right! Something so simple feels like it’s happening at the right time in my life. As a woman. of a certain age, it seems like it’s late, but to me it feels right on time.

I shared how before I left New York, a prophet told me he saw me driving. I know what you are thinking. You are probably thinking I didn’t need a prophecy for that, and I have to agree. But God wanted to speak to me and I really think it’s a prophetic sign of more than just driving. I think I am in my Kairos moment. I believe this is a sign to me that I am entering into the next season of my life.

Listen, I don’t care how long it takes, God does have a set time for some things. When it happens, you will know and you will feel it. God is about to manifest His long-awaited promises to you in this season. We don’t have to know all the details. Just believe it and receive it. It’s the right time!

Many of those who have been scribes of My prophetic voice have become dull of hearing and are not pressing in to hear My voice or to discern the moving of My Spirit.  Yet, they continue to want to be seen, heard, and recognized as being vessels of honor.  There will be a clear distinction between those who honor Me and give Me glory and those who seek their own glory.  Those who are true seekers in My kingdom will discern truth and error, says the Lord.

Jeremiah 23:26 “How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart.”

The Ministry of the Seer

For some reason God started reminding me of the many circumstances He showed me, that have happened.

I was thinking about how my own brother was “installing” this young man as Pastor of a church that he was starting in the Bronx, NY.  Fresh out of  Bible school, this young man and his young wife were starting a ministry in a public housing development.

As I sat in the service, I heard the Lord say “this ministry should not be, this installation, should not be”. So I am watching all of these words of affirmation and positive words about this ministry and all that PEOPLE say GOD  is going to do and I am sitting there and God said NOT SO!

Well within a few months, this young Pastor had a counselling session with one of the young women in the church and in this session they shared a kiss and of course it got out into the congregation and the church FOLDED. Just like that!  God said NOT SO!

Sadly, this couple wandered from place to place and eventually even this couples marriage ended!

I remember another friend who had inherited the leadership of this church and God spoke to me and told me to tell her to LET THE CHURCH GO! I was shaking in my boots because I didn’t know how she would take it, but I obeyed anyway. Well she sort of received it, but continued on, until one year later the church folded because she led the church in a pyramid scheme. After the church folded, God relocated her to a southern state.

I’ve also shared about having to give my Pastor at the time, a word about about coming off the road and devoting more time to building the congregation. How dare me and how disrespectful right?  Well the day I told him, he got FIGHTING MAD with me and was so rude and I could tell, he was going to cut me off from relationship, but later the SAME DAY, I gave him the word, he had a series of mini-strokes and was out of the pulpit for MONTHS.

The next time I saw him he was HUMBLED and trying to explain to me how on point I was.

Then there was another Pastoral couple who, God told me to tell them to let their church go (hard assignments). This couple received it when I shared it, but then reconsidered and continued on. Within a short time, their last three-five members who were attending, left the church and it folded. The husband was bound by a spirit of lust! (long story)

I am in another one of those battles now. I am being labeled false once again, but there is only one problem. I have an accurate track record. I know when people don’t know your ministry, they are quick to label you false.  Also, they are quick to label you false, if they don’t like what you are saying. But very soon that is going to change. A burnt bridge will have to be built again. The mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Someone is being lured by words of flattery. They are being lulled asleep by FALSE POSITIVE WORDS  and they think everything is okay. It’s not. It’s time to REPENT, which means CHANGE YOUR WAYS. IF YOU DON’T, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
