Why this Virus? Part 2

Yesterday’s post was a heavy one and this one will not be easy either, but the end result of any plague or judgment is ALWAYS good.

Revelation 2:29 Amplified Bible (AMP)

29 He who has an ear, let him hear and heed what the Spirit says to the churches.’

The following is a Prophetic Word given in 1986 by the Late David Wilkerson. Before his death, he pastored at the great Times Square church in New York City. Some of you may remember or heard about the big scandal in the ’80s with Televangelist Jim Baker. Pastor Wilkerson sent a word of warning that was ignored. Here is the Word Pastor Wilkerson  shared with Pastor Mike Evans:

Part 1: As I was in prayer, studying in my prayer room during the coronavirus crisis, I
picked up an old Bible and out of it fell a note I had forgotten I even had. As I
read it, I found myself trembling and crying. The note was from a breakfast I had with David Wilkerson in 1986 at the EmbassySuites near the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.
He showed me a letter addressed to Rev. Richard Dortch who was running PTL
under Jim Bakker. It said, “Rev. Dortch, within 12 months, the judgment of God
will fall on PTL. You are fornicating with brick and stone. Flee now and repent.
Bats will fly through the empty building.” A month later, I was with Dortch, and
he mocked David’s letter, saying, “if I fornicate, it will not be with brick and stone.
These attacks aren’t against me or Jim Bakker, they are against God.”
Twelve months later the Charlotte Observer broke the PTL scandal.

Part 2: During breakfast as David Wilkerson was talking about idols at PTL, he said, “I see
a plague coming on the world, and the bars and churches and government will
shut down. The plague will hit New York City and shake it like it has never been
shaken. The plague is going to force prayerless Believers into radical prayer and
into their Bibles, and repentance will be the cry from the man of God in the pulpit.
And out of it will come a third Great Awakening that will sweep America and the
world.” He then pointed to Isaiah 24 and said to me “a plague will hit the globe and
America.” He said, “every house will be shut up, and no one will be coming or going. The
city of confusion is broken down, and every house is shut up that no man may
come in.” Isaiah 24:10 says that.

The prophet Isaiah describes in Isaiah 24:12, all entrances and exits to the city are
gone. In other words, there will be no place to escape. God has shown me that a calamity is coming beyond humankind’s capacity to respond.

This judgment will devastate the world’s economies. Every restaurant and bar will be shut down, and all the drinking and merrymaking will end. All entertainment and churches will be shut down. Isaiah says in the 24th chapter, verse 9, “they shall not drink wine with a song.” The mirth of the land is gone. All sports will be shut down.

But the prophet Isaiah also saw a great shaking of the olive tree coming in
24:13. In other words, God’s shaking everything that can be shaken. It’s a time of
overwhelming darkness as He exposes the world’s idols. But in the midst of this terrible shaking, a song is heard, a chorus of voices singing praises to the majesty of God. “They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea,” (Isaiah 24:14). That’s the beginning of the Great Awakening. And then in 24:15-16 it says, “from the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous.” That’s a Great Awakening.

The Celebrity Everyone Likes but God Loves More!

This is part three of my series, but I changed the title to this last post. I don’t want to come across negative, but I have to say what God is telling me to say even if it’s not positive. But please bear with me, because I must obey God.

This morning I was looking at my YouTube timeline and was surprised to see a recommendation to watch a video about Joyce Meyer’s ministry and how she was a false teacher. The video featured a couple who were former employees of Joyce’s ministry. They really had no issues with Joyce other than not agreeing with her Word of Faith theology. Now I’m not even going to open that can of worms, but I do want to say that this doctrine (Word of Faith) has crippled the church to the point where we can no longer hear anything that is not positive. But the Bible and truth are not always positive, and here is how I know:

I was visiting a church back in September and the Pastor of the church prophesied and said: “You need to prepare this month for what is going to happen next month.” Well, my natural thought process was that I was preparing for something good, however, that was not the case. In the next month, my oldest brother died. That was what God was speaking to me about. Certainly, it was NOT positive.

So God wants to warn this Celebrity (because he loves him) that he must make some changes. In this season, it will not be good enough to just keep going as is. This is a season where he must make changes. And if he doesn’t the results will be on him.

Read Ezekiel 33:1-20 New International Reader’s Version (NIRV)

I know people don’t think that God will allow judgment, but I know he does because God has disciplined me. But my calling is to share what I see even if the person thinks I am being mean and doesn’t understand.

I remember years ago, the Lord admonished me to warn my Pastor at the time, to come off the road (traveling in ministry), take a salary and spend more time at his home church. He got fighting mad at me for telling him this, but the SAME DAY that I shared the Word of the Lord, he had several mini-strokes and was out of his pulpit for MONTHS. The next time I saw him, he was no longer mad at me. He was encouraging me about how powerful the Word of the Lord was in my mouth. You see it’s not me. It was GOD speaking through me.doing-a-180-redefine-yourself

So let me admonish the “celebrity who everyone likes, but God loves more”. This is the season of change. I see him cleaning up his life, living right, and changing his artistry. I see him going back to former movies and TV shows, REMOVING the vulgar content and doing a 180 where his artistry is concerned.  He needs to make clean content again. This next season will come either before a Damascus Road experience or after. The choice is HIS. Listen, this is not doom and gloom, but it is the truth. Read and meditate on the above scripture. PLEASE.

uturnSo before I end this blog post, I must say that I know this man is not a bad person. In fact, I read about a very kind act that he did for a couple just recently and it almost made me not share any of this. But God told me one has nothing to do with the other. I’ve read about many kind acts this man has done. I know he has blessed thousands of people, some things have been published, and I’m sure others have not. But this has to do with God’s requirement for being raised up to such a place of prominence. When God raises us up, we don’t get to do what we want to do.

Maybe one day, I will get to shake his hand or give him a hug and tell him how I have interceded and how I have ALWAYS wished nothing but the best for him. God bless you Mr. Celebrity!

A Lesson From Shawshank Redemption

ShawshankRedemptionMoviePosterThe lady I am living with has some movies in her collection that I don’t have and Shawshank Redemption is one of them. Yes, I’m late, but I generally don’t do the R-rated thing, but I watched this one and the Green Mile and I have to say they were both pretty good.  In my opinion they could have easily been made PG-13 with a few changes, but that is not what this post is about.

If you saw the movie, you know the story line is about a prison called Shawshank and the friendship between two prisoners named Andy Dufrense and Red. Andy ends up in prison even though he is innocent. Andy is a banker falsely accused of killing his wife and her lover. Well Andy has a very hard time in prison, but later he becomes in demand because of his banking ability and he ends up helping the guards and the Warden do their tax returns. Later Andy ends up keeping the Wardens financial books.

The reason I started thinking about this movie is because I just posted about judgment and my mind went to the Warden. He was a bible-thumping hypocrite. Quoting scripture and living the opposite. The Warden was a crook and he used Andy to help him hide his dirty deeds, but what the Warden didn’t know was that his sins were about to find him out.

He thought he could keep on cheating the government, abusing and killing the prisoners and just being dirty and continue to get away with it. But he punished Andy one time too many and Andy had his own plan. Andy was planning an escape for 19 years and when he decided to do it, Andy took the Warden down after he left.

Isn’t that how judgment comes. You don’t even see it and sometimes the person you least expect ends up sticking it to you. The one you trust the most. What deceives many is that years pass by and they seem to get away with it, but then SUDDENLY, it happens.

It’s time to get it together. If the Warden had allowed Andy to go when he found out he was innocent, he probably would not have had the end he had. But the Warden REFUSED to let Andy go! Sometimes it’s the one you refuse to let go, when you should have that will end up doing you in.

Yes, there was a lesson, even in the Shawshank Redemption. Will you listen and obey God!

Hebrews 12:6

King James Version (KJV)

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

God’s Word….Day 8

Judges 16:15-20

New Living Translation (NLT)

15 Then Delilah pouted, “How can you tell me, ‘I love you,’ when you don’t share your secrets with me? You’ve made fun of me three times now, and you still haven’t told me what makes you so strong!” 16 She tormented him with her nagging day after day until he was sick to death of it.

17 Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.”

18 Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands. 19 Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down,[a] and his strength left him.

20 Then she cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!”

When he woke up, he thought, “I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize the Lord had left him.

God is Coming for Your Money and Your Sin

cigs and moneyOdd title isn’t it? Well, it’s been an interesting morning and God spoke to me through some circumstances that have come to my attention.

I feel sad about the church today. I feel sad that we are not taught the true gospel and that is salvation, being a disciple and living a righteous life. What grieves me more than ever is the level of compromise that is among so-called Christians. It’s sad how there are absolutely no standards or difference between the world and the church. As long has we are “prospering”, we feel that God is pleased with us, but that is not true. There are drug dealers and peddlers of pornography who are “prospering” financially and God has NOTHING to do with those people.

My heart is full today because of all that I see. I am not perfect, but I know what it means to live righteously and sadly the church is failing in teaching the truth. I am amazed at how many Christians really think Christianity is about going along with the status quo and mixing in with the world. PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS??

The reason I used this title is because I heard it in my spirit. God is going to begin to bring correction to those who claim to know him and if your money or wealth is hindering you from seeing the truth, God is coming to take it away. Yes, sin affects your prosperity and if you think you can live anyway and still prosper, in time, God will allow you prosperity to dwindle away. Why? Because lack of money get’s most people’s attention.

This is the season where God is dealing with sin and bringing correction. Trust me when I tell you that this blog post is a warning. For some, it’s not the first time, you have gotten a warning. For others, it may be, and God is saying it’s time to tighten up your loose living before you lose it all. No that doesn’t have to happen, but God will allow it to save your soul.

I know this sounds like a strange message. But I heard it in my spirit. This morning, a woman contacted me distraught, because her husband, who is a minister is dealing with addiction and sadly, he doesn’t know that he is about to lose his family!  He has deluded himself and thinks that he is alright, but his prosperity (his family) is about to be snatched from him.

I don’t know if it’s a man thing, but many live in denial about stuff, until it’s all gone. Listen, let me just helps someone out. God is NOT going to continue to bless you if you continue to fornicate, commit adultery, get drunk, use drugs, smoke, indulge in porn, be a glutton and live contrary to the Word of God. I don’t care how long you have been living in sin and everything is going well. Do you realize that the Word says that God blesses you, so that you will repent? But after a while, it may all have to be taken away, if you don’t get it together.

I’m grieved, for the man who is about to lose his family. For the man who doesn’t realize his whole entire life is about to be exposed. For the one that doesn’t even know how close they are to their whole universe caving in. For the man or woman who refuses to CHANGE. And that applies to ALL OF US.

Check yourself today. This is a warning. God chastens whom he loves! Turn back to him TODAY!

1 Peter 4:17

Amplified Bible (AMP)

17 For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?

Hebrews 12:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)

6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.

2 Corinthians 13:5

Amplified Bible (AMP)

5 Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [[a]not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?

Love Series: The Internet Casanova Pt. 2

reapEarlier, I was writing about a 20/20 story that I watched last night about this man, who has been dubbed, “The Internet Casanova” because of his online abuse of women.

On the report they had about eight women sharing their story about this man, but they found about 40-50 more woman who this man had used and abused online. But there was this one woman who even though she heard about him, she stood by him and refused to believe. Well she actually brought down the law on this man.

As I watched the story, I thought about a similar situation that I know of, with several women being misled and this one woman, though well aware of this man actions, has chosen to “love” and support him.

I think the reason this story hit me prophetically is because I think God is showing me the one who is going to bring it all down. I have been trying to figure out which one out of a two women it would be, and I feel like this story was God’s way of answering that question. It’s the second woman in the scenario that I am looking at who is going to bring it all down. We will see.

The scripture is clear. Some people don’t believe the Bible, even though they profess Christianity, but I believe every word. You do reap what you sow, good and bad.

Galatians 6:7

King James Version (KJV)

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
