Grateful!

GRATEFUL-POST-IMAGE-250-X-250-LOGOI’m not writing as much because I have resumed keeping my personal journal. But I can’t forget out this blog. I know someone is helped by it, even if it’s just one person.

I am so grateful for all that God is doing. In a time that most would consider a bad time in my life, I have sailed through it with no grief at all. Losing your home is a big thing, but I don’t feel like I’ve lost at all. I have the Word of the Lord about some things and mainly the logos Word (the Bible) and it lets me know all that I have gone through will work out for my good.

I am making a new commitment to be more obedient and yield to God; more than ever before. I know God is up to something and although we don’t always see and understand, God has a plan.

The key to getting through a difficult time is to be grateful for what you have. I am grateful to God that he made a way for me to stay here in Florida, because this is where I am called to be during this season of my life. I’m grateful that my sister made a sacrifice and opened her doors to me. Seemingly small things, but, I am grateful!

I am grateful because I have a hope and a future! And you do too!!!

Jeremiah 29:11

Amplified Bible (AMP)

11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Grateful, But With Destiny in View

I just completed my first week of work after two weeks of training and don’t get me wrong, I am grateful to have a job, BUT I was telling someone that I want to start doing work that I enjoy and are purposed to do and there is nothing wrong with that. I am an entrepreneur at heart, so it’s difficult to have to conform to the routine at times.

It’s amazing though. God has spoken two things to me about both financing and starting a non-profit organization. Well every day at work, I get constant confirmations of what God said concerning the financing and then when I go to the lunch room the name of the cafe has the same name of what I plan to name the non-profit organization! This past Saturday, while at work, I was reminded of that and I heard in my spirit “don’t forget the vision”.

I’m excited. God does nothing by accident. I know this job is on the path to destiny and I am grateful for the job, but I have not forgotten about destiny.

Habakkuk 2:3

Common English Bible (CEB)

3 There is still a vision for the appointed time;  it testifies to the end;  it does not deceive.[a] If it delays, wait for it;  for it is surely coming;

it will not be late.

Be Grateful

We have to be so careful not to complain and not be thankful for all that God is doing. Yes, maybe your situation could be better, but it can also be much worse. I know I really have to guard against that.

Just a few words today. Be encouraged today and remember to have a grateful heart!

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — 8/2/11:

Watch for the temptation to be discontent, for this will lead to negative attitudes that will seduce you away from My blessings for you. Be strong and choose to be thankful for all that I have given you and all that I have given you to do. Thankfulness will create a spiritual atmosphere that attracts goodness. Be diligent to maintain a positive outlook, says the Lord, for it will benefit you greatly.

1 Timothy 6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

Grateful for an amazing God

I marvel at the God that we serve! This has been a particularly difficult week for me but in the midst of it all God is continuing to speak of a hope and future.

I’m grateful for the strength to follow through on some spiritual disciplines.

I’m grateful that God gave someone a dream that ministered to me.

I’m grateful that someone called and gave me a Prophetic Word right in the midst of the storm.

I’m grateful that God told me to stop screaming and shut my mouth.

Im grateful that He told me that the rejection is for my own protection.

I’m grateful that when we go through a trial He is right there speaking to us every step of the way.

I’m grateful that He orders my steps even in the small thing like when He told me ” no, don’t go see that movie.”

I’m grateful that Jesus is not just my SAVIOR, but my LORD!

In this season of Thanksgiving, what are you grateful for?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
