Wealth and the Spirit of Rebellion

MJ 2012 This Is It signI imagine if you are wealthy, you think that money can buy any and everything and I imagine it can for those who can be bought.

But money and character are two different things. I would rather have a man with character than a man with all the money in the world.

There are people entitled by wealth in the world today, who think they can do whatever they want because of what they have. They can mistreat people and be rude and hurt people and they think they can get away with it, by buying them off.

I remember this dream I had about someone turning into Michael Jackson when he went to meet this specific woman. Well let’s think about Michael. Every time I watch This Is It on DVD,  I feel so sad. This was a man who God was reaching out to. A prophet in Africa reached for him through his brother, but the connection was never made.

Michael’s money made him think he could use anesthesia to sleep because he could buy it. Never mind the fact that it was dangerous. When he ran into a few doctors and nurses with integrity, (there were some)  who would not give him drugs, he bought a doctor and it ended in his death.

Rich people are often God’s unto themselves and they get willful. If they can’t have it their way, it’s no way. But guess what? God is higher than your wealth and your riches and he can say it’s over and you WILL leave this earth.

Yes, I am understanding  my Michael Jackson dream more than ever. I didn’t want to accept it, but in the dream, when this man went to meet this woman he turned into Michael Jackson. Then a prophetess I know once confirmed the death of this man and I refused to believe her. But I think I do now. If God can NOT get you to obey him, he no longer needs you!

Isaiah 38:1-7

Living Bible (TLB)

38 It was just before all this that Hezekiah became deathly sick, and Isaiah the prophet (Amoz’ son) went to visit him and gave him this message from the Lord:

“Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die; you will not recover from this illness.”

2 When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed:

3 “O Lord, don’t you remember how true I’ve been to you and how I’ve always tried to obey you in everything you said?” Then he broke down with great sobs.

4 So the Lord sent another message to Isaiah:

5 “Go and tell Hezekiah that the Lord God of your forefather David hears you praying and sees your tears and will let you live fifteen more years.
