A Break

I had to check back and see when I had last posted. I didn’t realize a couple of days went by, but I just needed a break. I took a break from a few things, but then the Lord told me to go back to some things and I realize that God has me on assignment posting, so I must keep on. Even if it’s just for one person, it’s worth it.

This Saturday I have to move and as of today, I don’t have a clue where I am going. But when I moved out of my house (after it was auctioned off) I came here  (where I am now living) and it was on a Sunday that God spoke and said this was the place (Florida) my prophecies would come to pass and by Monday, I was invited to stay where I am currently living. Now, three months later I am in a similar place and I know God is not going to let me down. I have my standby place (North Carolina), where my best friend lives, but I know God is going to make a way.

One of the reasons I took this break is because I needed to focus and see what God was saying about moving. It’s so unusual to live like this (prophetic walk). I’ve tried the traditional means (job applications, etc.) but the doors have not opened. So I find myself really dependent on God. Recently, this older friend, mentioned that God was going to show me why he brought me where I am living and why I couldn’t leave before now. I am anxiously awaiting my change! I’ve posted a picture below, of where I have been sleeping.  But don’t you dare feel sorry for me. I am grateful to have had a roof over my head and I always said, when I get where God is taking me I am going to take a picture of my new bedroom and compare the two.

About a month ago, I had a dream that I was back at my old house and the other day, my friend took me by there and the house had been fixed up and it looked just like it did in my dream!! It was overwhelming to me to look at the house and remember the dream. Then yesterday I fell asleep and took a nap and had a dream my late father told me that the owners wanted me to have the house back. But honestly, I’ve felt for a while, that the saga of my former house was not quite over. I will keep you posted. Looks like I’m at the Jordan.

Joshua 3:1-5

New International Version (NIV)

Crossing the Jordan

3 Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over. 2 After three days the officers went throughout the camp, 3 giving orders to the people: “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it. 4 Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about two thousand cubits[a] between you and the ark; do not go near it.”

5 Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
