Reassurance

ReassuranceWhat a day! I wouldn’t trade my walk with God for anything in the world. So today, I went out to run an errand and decided to catch an afternoon movie and since I was an hour early, I called my best friend and prayer partner, to chat while waiting. Well, she begins to share this dream that she had about me and honestly, although we are close, there were some things that have happened lately, that I had not shared with her. The dream was sent straight from God to reassure me about a certain circumstance in my life.

I am sharing a lot less of the details here on this blog, and even with friends, I am sharing less. This is a part of the shift that God is bringing about in my life. But the dream today was very clear. Something has definitely changed in the realm of the spirit and God does not want me to be concerned with things that will have no effect my destiny. I am in AWE of God!! Only He could do what he did today.

Need reassurance? Ask the Lord, even if you have asked him before and then trust Him. God definitely means what He says!

Numbers 23:19

King James Version (KJV)

19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

A Rough Week/Good Week

good-news-bad-newsWe all have them. Whether emotional, physical, etc, we all go through rough times. But it’s funny to suffer in one area while watching something else improve. That is what happened to me this past week.

Sorry, I’m not able to give the details, but I am grateful that while I was going through, God was working something out for my good. He is good like that. And then in another circumstance, I brought something upon myself (negative ), so I think God intended for this to be a good week, but we have free will and if we go against common sense and the instructions of the Lord we will ALWAYS suffer in the end.

So if God says not to do something and we disobey and we suffer, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. One thing I do know is that God sees the future and it’s really not smart, when you think you know better than God. Whatever the case, I should have listened to God.

Thank God for his mercy!

1 Samuel 15:22-23

New International Version (NIV)

22 But Samuel replied:

“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
he has rejected you as king.”
