At the Red Sea Pt. 2

red seaGods ways are just not like ours! The sooner we learn this, the better of we will be. I’m grateful that I have learned to submit to God. No, I’m not perfect, but I am more inclined to submit to God than not to submit.

In my last post, I was sharing that I felt I wanted to leave where I am currently staying, but God is good. If we want direction and guidance, He will give it to us. I was thinking about doing something that would have been unwise. You see, God opened this temporary door with my sister, in order for me to stay in Florida, until He opens the next door. So there is no need to waste money staying someplace else, when this was the door He opened.

Sometimes things get uncomfortable and we just have to “grin and bare it”.  The truth of the matter is, this too will pass and the next phase is going to be glorious. God has given me a little glimpse of where He is taking me and it’s glorious; so why trip?

The real Red Sea is not about me going to another short-stay place. It’s the residence that God is sending me to before the promise. What I need to do is just stay focused and watch God confound the naysayers. This is why vision is so important. If I looked at my circumstance through natural eyes, I would be depressed, but God has lifted me up above it it all.

Rise above what you see and what you are going through. God is doing so much more and His plans are so much greater than what you can see and perceive. That is what faith is all about. Have faith in God! You will get to the other side!

Hebrews 11:1

Amplified Bible (AMP)

11 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS:

It is important to your well-being for you to stay in the Spirit.  You must not evaluate your circumstances, indeed your very life, according to how you feel.  Exercise control over your emotions by rising up spiritually where you can be objective.  Otherwise, prepare for the roller-coaster ride that will be the result of emotional instability.  Abide in Me, says the Lord, and I will be your place of strength and stability.

1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
