When You’re in Limbo

limbo1Not sure who is reading, but if you read regularly, you know that I shared about “losing” my home and having to move in with my sister. Well, at first, I was going to stay with a friend, in another state, but God spoke to me and told me, I was to remain in Florida and He would open the door and that is exactly what happened.

So the goal was to get a job since I no longer am caring for my toddler and so I immediately went back to a company that I worked for when I first moved here. I applied online and shortly there after the store manager called and asked me to take an assessment test and of course, I thought I had it in the bag, even though I was dreading going back there.

Well sure enough, they hired someone else and I did not get the job. So the hunt continues. Meanwhile, the Lord is speaking these glorious, amazing things to me which are not in my power to do, but I believe God. Well of course there are some things I have to do because we are co-laborers with Christ and we have to work for what God has promised, but it’s still going to take a lot of faith.

It’s appears my life is in limbo. I share this for those of you who find yourself in similar circumstances, even if it’s not the same situation. I feel as though I am at the red sea about to cross over! Whatever your circumstance, remember not to give up and keep moving forward. There is an end to it all and a hope and a future!

Proverbs 23:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
