Sexual Sin Pt. 1

I was just reading a thread on a board that is supposed to be Christian and was amazed at the views on celibacy. Someone was saying they decided to be celibate for a season to clear their head to hear from God??? I’m confused!!

That is the problem with the church today. There really is no such thing as holiness and let me just say right here that I understand the struggle with sexuality. That is why people should get married. It’s God’s only LEGAL way to have sex. But in the world today, even “Christians” don’t believe that fornication is a sin. And some know it is, but they feel there is no way they can live in  holiness, so they don’t.

I think marriage is definitely the problem solver, but it’s a catch 22. If a man or woman are bound by fornication and they get married, will they remain faithful after marriage? Many times the unfaithfulness to God before marriage, seeps over into the marriage. I’ve seen it so many times.

Here is what the Bible says about sexual sin. (The Bible is the Christians instruction manual. GOD’S word, given to men inspired by HIm.

1 Corinthians 6:18

¹⁸ Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

I’m going to continue this in the next post. But there is no way you are serving God and right with Him, JUSTIFYING sexual sin. I didn’t say STRUGGLING, but I said doing it with no thought that you are doing wrong.

When God starts addressing things in your life, it means he is coming for it. Get your house in order, because God is going to deal with it. No one is exempt from living Holy if you call yourself a Christian.

 

Love Series: Fools Rush In

I was thinking about how you have to beware, when people try to get you to rush into anything, especially relationships and marriage. It’s a true sign of desperation and that you should STEER CLEAR. LOL

I was reading something someone wrote about knowing a few couples who have been put together by God and how they didn’t date but a few days and then they were married and are still together and I thought “LIES”. lol

I watched one of my dear friends be joined together by God with her mate after waiting  four years and they were engaged four months and after marriage, the one thing she told me is if she could do it over again, she would not have married so quickly.

When people marry like that, most of the time it’s about lust. Maybe they don’t want to fornicate, so they just jump into an ill-timed marriage and assume it will work. Well that is a fantasy. As I was thinking about all of this I heard in my spirit “Fools Rush In”.

I understand the desperation of rushing in. A lot of women do that because they want to lock the man down, but if someone or something is for you, you don’t have to rush in. I think it’s the most foolish move you can make. Timing is everything and time reveals ALL things. Just let a desperate person sit and wait for a while and you will see their true colors come out. People can’t fake it forever. lol Yes, it’s a fool who rushes in.

Love Series: Love and Kindness!

I got my instructions and I know what to do and it ain’t gonna be online either!! God gave me specific instructions and a visual of how he wants me to treat my mate and it is about up close and personal. I am so over the internet!

So it’s going to love and kindness and more kindness and love and then more LOVE and more KINDNESS!!!

AND after that more LOVE AND KINDNESS AND LOVE…

THEN YOU MAY HAVE A LITTLE TIFF, BUT AFTER THAT MORE LOVE AND KINDNESS!! LOL

All Things New!!

Between yesterday and today, God has done so much for me, I just have to thank him!! Yesterday, I had some what of a “breakdown”, not emotionally, but a breaking down in the sense of some rules God gave me, but I no longer have any regrets. The Lord is good and he uses everything for our good.

Now when God says he is doing something new, we need to BELIEVE HIM and recognize that He means what he says. Things are no longer as they were, so we need to make the adjustment.

Yesterday was not such a good day. I felt a heaviness, like I have never felt before. Then this morning when I woke up, it felt has though something was binding me. So I felt impressed to call my prayer partner and without her knowing any of what I was going through, the Word of the Lord came from her mouth and settled the matter.  God gave me a right now Word for my situation.

You see, God said what He means and means what he says and now is the time and there is nothing else to do but fall in line and move forward.

God also revealed that someone had been praying AGAINST me (witchcraft). It’s one thing to pray about your enemies, and it another to pray specifically against people. I’ve had that happen before and it brings a very real spirit of oppression on people. But this morning God delivered!! Thank you Jesus!!

If you are feeling oppressed, call on the Lord through prayer AND fasting and He will deliver. I mean God will come through every  time!!!

Numbers 23:19
