The Real Gospel

Holy-Bible_20110524052238I made a sudden shift this week out of my old church and I am now a part of an e-church. Honestly, some may have a problem with it, but I don’t. But the first thing I noticed is the difference in the preaching.

This pastor addresses sin on a regular basis, something the modern-day church knows nothing of. The church today had “overdosed” on grace, so if you point out sin, they think you are “persecuting” them. Well that is not what persecution is. The Bible is clear and lists a whole lot of sins that will take you to hell.

I am glad to be under such strong word. I realize God led me out because I needed something to help mature me. I am not a babe in Christ and I am not a carnal Christian either, but listening to this strong “meat” of the word is helping to to see, just how far I really am. Often we can become deceived about ourselves if the light of the word is not shined on us.

God is calling people out of mainstream churches  to receive more of the meat of his word and He is raising up Apostles and Prophets who will stand flat-foot and not compromise God’s word.

Hebrews 5:12

New International Version (NIV)

12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

  1. An e-church!! That sounds very interesting. Could you please tell me more about it? 🙂 Is there a link? Do you interact with other members? How does tithing work? Is there worship? I am very interested and would appreciate any info you can give. Blessings to you!

    • Hi Water Bearer, I posted a link at the end of The Real Gospel post, but here it is again. His wife contacted me through this blog. I felt instantly connected before I made the decision to leave my last church. (didn’t know God was going to tell me to leave). I’m just learning, but you can interact with new believers. You tithe through the website. Not sure about worship yet, but there are teachings twice daily during the week. Because I was off this past week, I was able to “attend” almost all of them. I have been calling in, since my sound is out on my laptop. :-). Check out the website. The Pastor is very nice and I have talked to him more in one week than my former Pastor in one year. lol I believe I need this in my life during this season.I hope this helped.
