Love Series: An Unwise Marriage

michigan_wedding_photography_01I remember years ago a friend of mine met and married her then husband in about three weeks. They both thought God was leading them into a quickie marriage (more like the flesh). Well needless to say, they didn’t even make it a year. Years later she remarried and I believe she is still with that mate. I know she learned a hard lesson.

No matter what kind of “connection” you feel to someone, it’s DUMB to get married without proper counselling. I personally have heard that you should see that person in all four seasons. You know, spring, summer, fall and winter. lol

One of my best friends (more like a sister) got engaged and married in within four months. I watched her receive prophetic words, and God was dealing with the man and yes we all got caught up in the happy whirlwind. But a several months after she got married, I had the opportunity to have lunch with her and she told me point-blank, if she had to do it over again, she would have WAITED. She told me they went through a lot of unnecessary drama because they did not take the time to really get to know each other.

I had a dream about reality celebrity Kim Kardashian. In the dream I saw there were two weddings. The other wedding was a celebrity wedding also, but I couldn’t see who it was. After I had the dream I asked the Lord about it and he told me that there would two short-lived celebrity weddings. Kim’s marriage lasted all of 52 days, I believe. I’ve often wondered who the second one would be.

When God says wait and the flesh says rush, listen to GOD!

Psalm 27:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

This Treasure in an Earthen Vessel

cracked potI don’t know it all. I can only go by what God has shown me and continues to show me. I now think things may escalate to the next level about a vision God gave me and if it does, God says it’s of him, but the end result will not be good.

When this come to pass, this will take my faith to the next level. You see don’t mistake the message for the earthen vessel. All that God showed me came WAY before any one was in the picture. God said it not me.

People want to discount the message and the warning because the vessel is flawed. It’s an unwise person who does that. The only thing that reverses judgment is repentance. Not I’m sorry Lord, but I’m sorry Lord and what do you want me to do to make up for what I’ve done.

I remember Joyce Meyer telling how she had stolen money from a former job before she had gotten saved. You would think it would be under the Blood of Jesus. But God required Joyce to pay it back. That is a true sign of repentance.

Admission is the first step. Acknowledging that you did wrong. Until someone does that and stops the blame game, then the repentance is not real.

Don’t reject the message because it come from a flawed vessel. We are all flawed!

Ezekiel 33:9

New International Version (NIV)

But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.

A Prophetic Walk

man-praying-on-one-knee1A fellow blogger shared this song with me. This is for someone. God knows exactly what he is doing. TRUST HIM. He knows what is best for us.

Just the other night a hometown football game
My wife and I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldn’t help but think of the way things used to be

She was the one that I’d wanted for all times
And each night I’d spend prayin’ that God would make her mine
And if he’d only grant me this wish I wished back then
I’d never ask for anything again

Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you’re talkin’ to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn’t answer doesn’t mean he don’t care
Some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

She wasn’t quite the…

Felt led to repeat this. This is for someone today!

A Prophetic Walk

I found this article on a flash drive and when I read it I asked the Lord if he was speaking to me and He said “post it because someone needs to read it”.

Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”  Matthew 26:36-39 (NIV)

I have two children whom I love dearly. I…

Faith Steps

Faith Tabernacle

March 12, 2013

What will your one step of faith be in this new season? It is the first step that leads to victory. You will be given the opportunity to step out in faith in a new way. You are a supernatural people, and your God is saying, “Take one step of faith to begin this new and exciting journey, and with your first step the supernatural will be revealed.”

It’s hard to describe what I am feeling right now. When God shows you something you never know the price that is attached to it. But today there has been an alteration to the vision. It’s only about ministry.

God told me he is going to PUBLICLY EXPOSE someone and that I was to forgive that person so that they would not be overcome with excess sorrow. At this point I can’t see the person turning to me or me wanting to help. I’m shaking my head right now.

The bigger the are the harder they fall.
