Love Series: True Love Wins!

true-loveIf two people, form an online connection, have never met, talked on the phone and have never been in each others presence, or as I like to say, “they haven’t smelled each others breath, yet”, lol, and feel that they have found true love, more power to them and true love wins! It’s either love or insanity!

I am happy when people feel that they have found love. One of the worse things a woman can do is fight for the heart of a man when it’s already taken. It’s a waste of time and energy. So ladies what do you do in that case? You move on. Never mind any revelation you think you may have. I would put it on the shelf and live my life. If it’s from God, it will come to pass if the man makes that choice. I don’t believe destiny just happens. I know for a fact that you can miss destiny. My former Pastor always said “Destiny is not left of to chance, it’s a matter of choice. But once his choice is made, let it go because it’s not going to happen. You will end up with a terrible heartbreak. Go where you are celebrated, not tolerated!

I wish the happy couple the greatest happiness. I’M OUT! 🙂 This subject is dead.

Double-minded

double-mindedHave you ever dealt with someone who changes their mind constantly. Well I have and it used to drive me crazy. But since I’ve turned over this “new leaf” I am no longer going to let it get to me. It’s kind of obvious that the only reason someone vacillates on a daily, sometimes hourly basis, is that they are uncertain.

In the past I had let the persons uncertainty affect me, but no more. Each person must come to their own conclusions about a thing. I have already come to mine. I believe I have heard from God. I’m not doubtful and I’m not wavering. I am just going to have to see some things through to the end.

As for the person who is doubting, they will have to spend time with God and come to their own conclusions themselves. Time will tell what the end will be.

I have really turned a corner in my faith. I asked the Lord why and He told me that as long as I would not fully embrace what he has said, it was making me miserable. But now that I have recommitted myself to the vision of God, I have joy. The truth is doubt makes you miserable.

Are you double-minded or doubtful? The Word of God has the answer:

James 1:2-7

Amplified Bible (AMP)

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.

Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.

But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of [a]the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.

Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,

But I Am Happy!

happy faceYesterday an online acquaintance just popped up out of nowhere (really on yahoo messenger, lol). She started telling me a dream about someone she is involved with in cyberspace and I listened. Didn’t comment much. We chatted about the message board that we met on and then all I did was say “for some reason I feel happy”. Yep, that is all I said. I got the feeling that statement made her unhappy. lol She immediately got offline.

I later saw something that let me know that she had drawn a conclusion from my brief statement. But all I said is that I was happy. I think she expected me to be unhappy. But the truth of the matter, I am happy and it has nothing to do with my circumstance. It’s just that I’ve turned the corner and accepted what God has said and that makes me happy.

Oh course there is more to the story, and I started to share, but I’ve probably shared too much on this blog already. For me, my circumstance is still adverse. I still am believing my vision semi-alone, but in spite of it all. I am happy. Happy in Jesus.

We can be happy in Him no matter what and that is what I am going to do and you should too!

Nehemiah 8:10

New International Version (NIV)

10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

How Can This Be?

nativity story 2

If you are familiar with the story of Mary the mother of Jesus, you immediately recognize “how can this be” as the words she spoke to the angel Gabriel, when he announced that she was going to have a baby by the Holy Spirit. That is one of those once in a lifetime occurrences  but it’s still an example of how God will proclaim something fantastic to someone he has chosen.

I love the movie The Nativity. It’s about he story of Mary and Joseph and how for a while Mary was despised and rejected even by Joseph and how God had to deal with him and let him know that the revelation Mary had was from him. Of course I love reading the story, but there is nothing like seeing the story dramatized.

Can you imagine what Mary went through? Not only did she receive a fantastic revelation, but she was persecuted because of it. But what I am learning is your promise is left up to God. So no matter how fantastic the promise of God is, you can have peace knowing it’s ALL up to him.

That is how I feel about what God has said to me. I fasted, prayer and “birthed it” in the spirit. Now all I have to do is rest. God has it. Just like God got a hold to Joseph, he can and will get a hold to anybody he needs, to let them know His will.

Luke 1:26-38

New International Version (NIV)

The Birth of Jesus Foretold

26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will mi Ji end.”

34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”

38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
