In our walk with God, we never stop learning. And if you ever think you have arrived, let me tell you right now, you haven’t. But if any of us would be honest with ourselves, we have to know that we have not arrived..
We all have issues that we need help with. For some people there are longstanding addictions and habits that are hard to break, but in spite of it all, I still believe God is a deliverer.
I know last year I was fervently praying about my issues with food, and it was illness that started my deliverance. No, God did not make me sick, but he used the illness to start the process of me being set free from the bondage to food. When you get desperate, get ready! God may use or allow something difficult to happen. I am not totally there yet, but I was forced to make some radical changes and there are more that must be made.
Do you need God to deliver you from something? You must pray. Focus prayer on it and continue to pray for God to set you free and He will! Cry out to Him daily and don’t give up, I don’t care how long you have been bound. Remember it’s a process so if you stumble and fall, just get up and pray and keep on going. God will deliver!

A Living Sacrifice to God
12 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
