6 As God’s partners,[a] we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. 2 For God says,
“At just the right time, I heard you.
On the day of salvation, I helped you.”[b]
Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
Early Monday morning, a little after midnight one of my fellow bloggers posted that scripture on her blog and the notification came up that I had a new email. Right when the notification popped up, I had just seen something that kind of got me down. God has been dealing with me in such an unorthodox way, and honestly as my brother would say “Sis, it’s supernatural”.
But even with the supernatural we must cooperate with God’s instructions and if we don’t “get it”, we can miss it. Well right at the time I felt I had missed God in something, the above scripture just “popped up” in an email and calmed my concerns.
Sometimes we feel we have missed something and then God will come along and let us know that we didn’t. God was assuring me that he still had something in mind for me and that the acceptable time has come and that “Today is the day”. He spoke it, confirmed it and I expect it!
