Peace and Joy

This morning I woke up knowing that I needed to repent. Repentance is really important in our walk with God. Everybody needs to repent of something and repentance really should be a daily thing. But after I repented, I made a new commitment to God and I have to say all day I have been feeling great peace and joy.

I am a person that values my peace. I don’t enjoy feeling stressed and upset and I’m sure most of you are the same way. I realize sometimes the reason we don’t have peace is because there may be something interfering with our relationship with God.

Today, was a day of great peace and joy and I have no intention of letting anything come between me and my Lord. What about you?

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Philippians 4:7

New International Version (NIV)

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

  1. So simply put yet so intensely valuable! I love the peace that comes from feeling His forgiveness, He is so faithful to us, and it is so sad that His name and ways are tarnished in this place, through lack of understanding and pride of thinking we know all He could know, some miss out on experiencing this peace. Well done on your acknowledgment of the weakness of your flesh and the courage to place it at the foot of the cross. Truly Inspiring! 🙂 Blessings to you my repentant & peaceful friend. 🙂 xx
