Gods Good, Pleasing and Perfect Will

I was thinking about God’s will, how God may reveal His will to us, and there may be anxiety attached to that revelation. We may look and think “that will never happen”. Even after you contend and believe, you look at the circumstance and think it’s impossible.

I was thinking like that recently because I felt I would never be accepted where God said I was going. I thought “I’m too this and too that” and that is real. But then God reminded me that we do have to agree with the will of God and that somehow we get the idea that we won’t want what God wants.

What I’m saying is God works within desire, so even if you don’t think you desire God’s will, He will make His will pleasant and desirable. Maybe not initially but eventually you will want what God wants. So have no fear. God is not going to force us to do anything.

Romans 12:2

New Living Translation (NLT)

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
