I was rereading this post: Love Series: Enjoy Your Life While You Wait and all I could do was chuckle. I shared about waiting for your mate and how I thought my situation would be different. Well, I realize now, that I added my own spin to the prophetic word that I received. I shared how a prophetess had given me a word about someone observing me, but she clearly said, there was another man coming. It was me that drew a conclusion about this other man and created a dating scenario. God didn’t say that, lol. Well, it looks like none of that is going to happen because suddenly that man is gone. He has been replaced on staff and I don’t think he is coming back. Plus I am moving. So the restoration has come and gone.
I think God wanted to build my self-esteem again because this gentlemen was very handsome and all the women were flocking around him, but I was able to catch his eye. I think that is what I needed and that mission was accomplished. 😉
Even though it wasn’t what I thought it would be, it was a pleasant experience. And I am learning also to never judge something before it’s time. The truth is we need to stick to the vision that God shows us and not veer off into something that is not His will for our lives. So, no detours for me. I want God’s will only!
