When you read the Word of God it becomes clear that God does the unusual and unorthodox. If you want to follow God you are going to have to take Him out of our box and realize that God can use whatever he wants to bless us.
A good example is how the Lord used the ravens (which were considered dirty birds) to feed the Prophet. This would be considered an unusual way to provide for a prophet. God also fed the children of Israel with Manna from heaven. This was definitely both unusual and unorthodox. Really it was supernatural. Food from heaven?
Be open to God’s ways and methods. And don’t rule them out if they are peculiar. As long as they are not contrary to the Word of God, follow God. You might be surprised at what happens.
Isaiah 55:8-9:
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
